Certifications

  • CIPRS
The Canadian Grain Commission's Canadian Identity Preserved Recognition System (CIPRS) program identifies suppliers that have a recognized quality management system in place, ensuring their Identity Preserved program delivers what the customer wants through an audited and documented process control system.
Customer focus and product provision are important elements of the CIPRS Standard. The controls in the Canadian Identity Preserved Recognition System Standard ensure the processes are in place to make sure product is just what was specified to get value to an operation.
The Canadian Grain Commission has a global reputation in grain quality assurance. The CIPRS Standard, independent third party audits, and certification provide peace of mind that a supplier's identity preservation processes can deliver the specialty products customers demand.

  • HACCP
Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) was conceived in the 1960’s when the U.S. National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) asked Pillsbury to design and manufacture the first foods for space flights. Since then, HACCP has been recognized internationally as a logical tool for adapting traditional inspection methods to a modern, science-based, food safety system. Based on risk-assessment, HACCP plans allow both industry and government to allocate their resources efficiently in establishing and auditing safe food production practices.

The HACCP system prevents food safety problems by providing control throughout the manufacturing process at critical steps identified as Critical Control Points (CCP's). These points permit operators to detect and control hazards before products are distributed.

  • OCPP/Pro-Cert Canada Inc. Organic Certification
